We’re happy to welcome Oles, DJ and founder of the Ivano-Frankivsk-based Detali, to The Nordic House in Reykjavík, as part of the Ukraine/Nordic-Baltic (AR-UNB) Residency Cooperation Network. 🇺🇦 🇮🇸
The AR-UNB network brings together Ukrainian residency and cultural managers from AR-Ukraine Internal Network, alongside Nordic-Baltic partners. The programme focuses on resilience, preparedness and mutual peer learning, creating space for cultural professionals to exchange experiences, strengthen their practices and develop new forms of cooperation and support for artists at risk.
For over a decade, Oles has been shaping Ukraine’s independent electronic music scene through DJing, festivals, educational initiatives and the Detali record label. His sets move between dubby grooves, tribal moods, broken structures and psychedelia. Additionally, Detali has been hosting Ukrainian AR-Residents since 2022.
At The Nordic House, Oles will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues in Reykjavík, share knowledge and experiences and develop new connections within the Nordic-Baltic cultural landscape.
The AR-UNB Residency Cooperation Network is a two-year collaboration supported by Nordic Culture Point Long-Term Network Funding, bringing together partners across Ukraine and the Nordic-Baltic region.
